Fender Squier Strat Pack Reviews  4 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI found this nice guitar at www.marsmusic.com(where it is currently on sale). I bought it with my credit card online, and I bought it because I wanted to start learning how to play electric guitar and fender was recommended by my friends to me.
The white blended with another color is very nice. The pack comes with everything that you need to start playing, even a video to learn. The guitar/amp sound very nice mixed together; a little less heavy metal than I was aiming for but still a very nice all around package. It also came with a gigbag, which was a great bonus. I'm learning how to play at good speed I think.
It comes with an instructional video instead of a book-I like books much better than videos! As I mentioned before, the guitar doesn't have as much heavy metal sound as I want. I think that the amp is also a little too small for the sound that I want to make too. And I don't like the color mixed with white for the body; that kind of style just doesn't appeal to me.
The construction is very nice; hardwood body, 21 frets, and maple neck. It came out of the box in perfect condition. There were no scratches, dents, or malfunctions. I was very pleased with this.
Bottom line, the strat pack is a nice pack for beginners in my opinion. It has everything that you really need to get started and learn on. It suits me well, and I like it. Bruce rated this unit on 2001-12-02.
